Ethical Decision Making Ethics is a subject about which everyone is familiar since each of us behave in more/less ethical manner on a daily basis. At the same time, ethics can be complicated and complex. And, when those moments arrive in which “right” and “wrong” behavior is difficult to discern, the experience can be like the challenge of untangling a fishing line--the harder you work at it the more entangled it can become! Alas, unlike resolving a tangled fishing line by cutting the line, we often do not have such an easy choice in untangling ourselves from an ethical dilemma. But untangle we can and this workshop will explore the tools and approaches that can be taken to avoid an ethical dilemma and most importantly, provide participants with an approach called “ethical reasoning” to untangle a challenging dilemma. This workshop is appropriate for employees, supervisors, managers. Participants will be presented with a series of challenging cases to sharpen and practice their ethical reasoning skills. Workshop Approach--hands-on plus.
